Can you fall from Grace as a Christian?

18 08 2015
I believe scripture certainly indicates that it is possible.
For instance if we look to Judas
He was certainly lost.
The questions that remains is
Was Judas *SAVED*?

Let’s examine.

“When morning came, he called *HIS DISCIPLES* to him and chose *twelve of them whom he also designated apostles*: Simon (whom he named Peter), his brother Andrew, James, John, Philip, Bartholomew, Matthew, Thomas, James son of Alphaeus, Simon who was called the Zealot, Judas son of James, and *Judas Iscariot, who BECAME A TRAITOR*” (Lk. 6:13-16)

This verse clearly shows *HE BECAME A TRAITOR* it means he was not a traitor when Jesus chose him.

For example Judas *had power to do works we as Christians supposed to do* when we are born again.

Then he called *his twelve disciples together*, and gave them *power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases. And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick*.

Woe to that man who betrays the Son of Man! It would be better for him if he had not been born (Mark 14:21).

While I was with them, I protected them and kept them safe by that name you gave me. None has been lost except the one doomed to destruction so that Scripture would be fulfilled. (John 17:12)

Another instance where we see many Christians will be disqualified is when Jesus said.

*Matthew 7*
Not every one that saith unto me, *Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven*; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, *Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works*? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

A Fair question would be *can a false disciple cast out demons*?
This because it means you have the holy spirit and thus means you are saved.

*Acts 19*
And *the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye*? And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, *and overcame them, and prevailed against them*, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded. And this was known to all the Jews and Greeks also dwelling at Ephesus; and fear fell on them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was magnified.

Considering Acts 19 *I don’t believe a false Christian can cast out a Demon*
